We can provide balance information for both certificated and uncertificated (Corporate Sponsored Nominee (CSN)) shareholdings. You can request this information by using any of the following contact methods or, for certificated holdings, you can obtain this information from the public share enquiry service.

If you are already registered for the Shareview Portfolio service, you can view the balance of your holding(s) by logging in to your portfolio.

You can also request balance details by submitting a form. Our standard response time is 5 business days from receipt.

Do you hold shares in Banco Santander?

Banco Santander have their own Registration Services/ login web page. From this you can log in to its company-specific share portfolio and/or download company-specific information and forms.

Our Share Valuation Service allows you to gain an indicative value of your shareholdings as at a specific date in the past ten years. This can be useful if you are trying to value your portfolio of assets for a particular point in time. This paid-for service can also be used for an evaluation of an Estate of a deceased shareholder. The Share Valuation will only include shares of the companies for whom Equiniti act as Registrar.

If you are already registered for the Shareview Portfolio service, you can get an indication of their current value by logging in to your portfolio. Alternatively, if you do not currently have a portfolio then you can register for one.

Do you hold shares in Banco Santander?

Banco Santander has its own registration and login page. From this you can log in to its company-specific share portfolio and/or download company-specific information and forms.

This paid-for service can be used if you need to calculate the value of shareholdings owned by the Estate of a deceased shareholder. Values can be provided as at the date of death. This service is in-line with HMRC's guidelines (found at www.hmrc.gov.uk) for the valuation of shareholdings belonging to an Estate.

For Share Valuations for the Estate of the deceased, Executors, Legal Representatives and Next of Kin can use this service. The Share Valuation will only include shares of the companies for whom Equiniti act as Registrar.

  • Capital Gains Tax: If you have a general enquiry concerning Capital Gains Tax, please contact a financial adviser or HM Revenue & Customs.
  • A Comprehensive History Schedule of Shareholdings: This can include: dates, transactions, balances of shareholding(s) for Capital Gains Tax purposes. Please note that this service may incur a fee which, if applicable, you will be advised of upon receipt of your request. Please refer to the following contact section on how to request this information.
